Annual membership is a must!
I upgraded my membership to annual a few boxes ago. You now get the option to chose each of your six main customizations, AND can add additional options from each for $10-$25 each, depending on the items.
Winter selection for annual members starts November 2 and I’ve seen a few of the spoilers and am pretty excited about them so far.
Annual membership is $179.99 per year (breaks down to $45 per box). You can get $10 off your first box by using code FAB10 when you signup here.
As an annual member, I got to select what I wanted from each of the 6 customization options. I also added 2 extras that I couldn’t decide between… it’s a nice option to have!
Customization #1: Uncommon James Set of 2 Copper Canisters ($49 value)
These cute canisters are actually bigger than I expected them to be! I love the warm copper color and the wood lid. There’s a rubber seal around the lid that’s very solid, I’m sure you could store just about anything in these… mine are currently stashing hair ties at the moment, but could be used for anything you keep on your counter. Dog treats, coffee beans/filters, tea bags, etc… They’re a nice rustic touch to just about any space!
Customization #2: Coach Open Circle Necklace and Tea Rose Stud Set ($125 value) and Cloudnola Block Clock ($45 value – I paid $15 as an add on)
This rose gold jewelry set is absolutely adorable! If it’s not something you’d wear yourself, it’d definitely make a great gift! The set even comes in a cute little drawstring bag. Adorable!
The little clock is pretty cute too. I put batteries in and set the time on it, then put it in front of the TV in my office. In about 5 days the batteries had died, so I plugged it in with the included USB cord and read the instructions.
*Batteries are for backup only.*
And now you don’t have to make the same mistake I did 😉
P.S. The cactus’s name is Peter.
Customization #3: ALTERNA® Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture CC Cream ($29 value) and APL – Athletic Propulsion Labs All-Purpose Packable Backpack ($60 value – I paid $10 as an add on)
My sister reps Monat, and I fell in love with their CC cream, but it was only available as a limited time product. When I saw this CC cream available in the FabFitFun box, I knew it would be one of my selections!
This stuff did not disappoint. It works as a heat protectant before blow drying and styling. I’ve used it as scrunching curl cream. It’s great for really any hair type and perfect to pack if you’re traveling because it’s so freaking versatile!
The leopard print backpack was worth every bit of the $10 extra I spent on it. Every. Damn. Penny. It’s currently living in my car, taking up very little space, because you never know when you’re going to need an extra bag!
There are plenty of pockets for anything you’ll need to carry. It’s got side pockets perfect for water bottles and a few zippered pockets for the rest of your essentials.
Bonus – this was way easier to fold back into its small pouch than I had expected! Like, way easy.
Customization #4: FRYE Bamboo Boot Sock – 2 Pack ($24 value)
Fun fact: I have little feet and am very picky about my socks. I swear by my Bombas – they’re great socks with no icky seams and I can buy them in size small.
These socks are a lighter weight than I’m used to wearing, but soooo soft! They actually don’t have a heel seam in them, so they’d fit any size. They’re also adorable with shorter boots all scrunched up.
10/10. I would buy these.
Customization #5: True Moringa Shea & Moringa Balm ($24 value)
This is not your everyday hand cream. This is some heavy duty sh*t that’s going to get you through those winter days when you’re skin’s all dry and cracked.
The small size is perfect for throwing in your purse, or cute leopard print backpack
Customization #6: Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm ($68 value)
I’ve had other products from Algenist in past boxes and am a fan of the brand. Life lesson you learn in your 30s: skin care is important.
If you’re keeping track, that’s $424 worth of products. The combined cost of my box was only $70! And I got to try a bunch of new brands and products, and have definitely found some new favorite things.
Shop the sale!
Whether you sign up for an annual membership or receive seasonal boxes, you’ll get access to FabFitFun’s sales. You can get bundles, whole extra boxes, or shop items in beauty, fashion, home, apparel and more! My favorite hair scrunchies have come from these sales. Most prices are significantly below retail price!
The only downside is the items aren’t eligible for return, so I’ve been hesitant to try any of the clothing. I’ll take the chance someday because the brands are awesome (like Free People and Draper James) and prices are usually at least a 50% discount from the retail price.
Check out some of the sale items I’ve picked up from past sales!
