Bacon Wrapped Smokies

3 ingredients and a cast iron skillet. That’s all you need to make delicious little bacon wrapped smokies!

Ingredients

  • 2 14 oz packages little smokies
  • 1 12 oz package bacon
  • ½ - ¾ cup dark brown sugar

Instructions

  • Cut bacon into thirds.
  • Wrap each smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Place bacon wrapped smokies into cast iron skillet.
  • Sprinkle with ½ - ¾ cup dark brown sugar.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, then turn the heat up to 425° for another 15 minutes.
  • Remove smokies from skillet and place on serving platter or in a crockpot.
