The Basics
Just 3 very basic and inexpensive ingredients (it even feels like a stretch to call them that) are all that’s required for these M&M pretzel bites. Pretzel squares. Hershey Hugs. M&M’s.
The Variations
This time around I used Hershey Hugs (my fave) and green M&M’s for St. Patrick’s Day. Customize these for holidays using seasonal M&M colors, or your favorite colors, school or team colors, whatever!
You can also try different flavored kisses. There’s the OG. The Hug. The Cookies & Cream. The Birthday Cake. There’s even a candy cane one at Christmas and a slew of others throughout the year to try! Whichever you use, I’m sure these M&M pretzel bites won’t hang around very long!
How to Make M&M Pretzel Bites
Unwrap all of the Hershey Hugs. This is a pain but really doesn’t take that long.
Place a silicone baking mat on a baking sheet and put pretzel squares in an even layer and place an unwrapped Hug (or Kiss) in the center of each. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and place an M&M in the center of each melty piece of chocolate. Allow chocolate to cool and harden. If you have zero patience like my family when it comes to these, a quick trip to the freezer will do the trick 😉
